Christmas Letter

Dear everyone,

Thank you for all that you’ve blessed this world with this past year.  It’s been amazing to be a part of the same light and life that circumvents the globe each day.  Thank you for letting me travel to Vietnam, Rwanda and Spain in the past 365 days, not to mention Texas, Nashville, New York and…most importantly, home.  Thanks for not letting me fail out of medical school (yet) and for always providing a way to stay happy and healthy, even when others aren’t gifted the same privilege.  I’ve learned a lot about my capacity for change, optimism and strength the past year since last Christmas season beckoned and don’t think that it didn’t go unnoticed.  Despite a shitty election and another tough school year, I’ve been surrounded by love from family, friends and my boy that still make me smile.  Thanks!

In peace, solidarity and looking forward,
